Instant dinner na naman kasi ayaw ko na naman ang niluto nila for dinner.

I don’t eat paksiw kaya naghanap ako ng ibang makakain sa pantry. Delata na naman.

Ininit ko muna at nilagyan ko ng pechay para may gulay naman. Ayos lang naman ang lasa. Mas masarap sana kung matamis ung coconut cream.

Pork Blood Stew

I had pork blood stew (dinuguan) for merienda. Dinuguan na isaw ng baboy. Pinabili lang ni kuya sa kung saang carinderia. May tira sya kaya kinain ko. I ate with with dinner rolls.  Matagal  na ko di kumakain ng dinuguan na isaw. Masarap nga pala un.

Pampanga Boy’s Yummy Polvoron

Polvoron is a mixture of toasted flour, powdered milk, sugar and melted butter.  It has been one of my favorites since I was a child. I remember always going to a nearby store to buy a piece or two.  Then my mom taught me how to make them na lang. Kesa sa bumili pa ko, luto na lang ako. Madali lang naman eh. And mas masarap pa gawa ko.  Here’s how I make my polvoron.

Ingredients muna. As for the quantity of ingredients na gagamitin, sikreto ko un. haha.

All Purpose Flour

Whole Milk

Sugar

Butter

Heto mga procedures.

Toast the flour. Malakas ang apoy dapat. Tuloy tuloy lang dapat ang paghalo dahil mabilis masunog ang flour.  Hinaan na lang ang apoy pag nasusunog na.

While toasting the flour, melt the butter.


Kapag well toasted na ang flour, you can now add whole milk.  Pwede ding skimmed  milk or buttermilk ang gamitin. Pero i prefer to use whole milk. Mas masarap. Mas mahal nga lang.  Haluing mabuti.  Pag nahalo na ng mabuti, turn off the stove.

We can now add the sugar. Haluin ng mabuti ulit.

Sa pagtoast ng flour, ung iba nabubuo. So what I do is, pinapadaan ko muna sa strainer ung mixture para maging mapino.

Iforce lang through the strainer’s holes ang nabuong flour.

Pag natapos na sa pagpino ng mixture ng flour, milk and sugat. Pwede na ilagay ang melted butter. Make a well in the middle of mixture and then pour the butter.

Haluin ng mabuti ang mixture.

We can now mold the polvoron. Or pwede ding wag na. Kamayin na lang.

Polvoron molders come in different shapes and sizes kaya kung anong trip mo, ung gamitin mo.

Pwede nang iwrap ang polvoron.

I always use cellophane sa pagwrap ng polvoron. Pero pwede ding papel de japon.  So there. Pampanga boy’s yummy polvoron.

Didn’t like what they cooked for lunch so kinain ko ung binili ko kahapon.

Mukhang suka yung green curry pero masarap naman. Ung instant Tom Yum naman, ayos lang. Some may find it too spicy pero para sakin ayos lang.
